my day-to-day thoughts

this weekend, i spent the entire time with esther and naomi. it was so good to just do nothing one last time before esther headed off to korea. after lounging around all day thursday, we decided on a cooking date the next day. we had sweet and sour pork with the help of naomi’s mom.

and to top off our delish dinner, we went to ina garten for help. mmm bread pudding made with buttery croissants? check!

i added my own touch by chopping up some semi-sweet baking chocolates.

with a dollop of fresh whipped cream, this baby could be dessert AND breakfast the next morning…which it did. :)
