1. food blogs: I’ve slowly begun to discover them after college, and now, it’s a full-time love affair. My all-time fave is Ree Drummond aka the Pioneer Woman and her Tasty Kitchen, but I also subscribe to many more…
2. magazines in the mail: Because of the hubby’s slight addiction with diet coke, we were able to accumulate lots of coke points. Currently, we have GQ, FoodNetwork, Martha Stewart’s Living, Bon Appetit, and Real Simple. Too much? I think not.
3. the future: I think it’s healthy and even fun to play a little game of ‘What if..’ with hubz. We’ll go to West Elm or Williams-Sonoma and just pick out things we would like to have. Or we’ll surf the web and look at pretty houses and talk about things we absolutely must have. We don’t know where we’ll be in the next 5 years, but I know for certain that we will be happy. :)
4. amazon prime: It’s seriously the best thing. It’s a lazy man’s dream. Just ordered a bunch of little, random trinkets I need around the house and I didn’t even have to leave the couch. And I just love getting packages.
5. chipotle/5 guys: I know, they’re so bad for you, but I think I found my ultimate cheer-me-up comfort food. I was having a horrible day yesterday and had a mini-meltdown, but after a little trip to Chipotle, I literally forgot about all my worries. I’ve never had a bad experience at these gems of a fast-food establishment. They are constant and very close by. If these were diet foods, I could eat it everyday without getting tired of it. YUM! Now I just want some cajun 5Guys fries.
